Zoo

Ryan got to go to the zoo twice last week. Ben and I took him one day and than Uncle Jason took him the next day. While he was there with us he had fun. He mostly liked looking at the ducks and big birds (I think because they were at his eye level and they were easy to see). We fed the ducks. Ryan ran around and he was mad when it was time to go. We went to the park next to the zoo to play for a few minutes. When Ryan went with Uncle Jason I think he had a lot more fun. It sounded like he remembered some of the things from the day before. He also met a friend while he was there. Jason told us that there was a family in front of them with a little girl and she came and grabbed Ryan's hand and pulled him along with her. And apparently Ryan just smiled (I think I got that story right).

Mom's Birthday

Recently mom got transferred to a nursing home in Logan. It's much nicer having her closer to all her family. We went to see her for her birthday and a lot of our family members came with. Her room was packed with a couple sisters, nieces, kids, and two babies. I think we ended up with eleven people there. It was good to see her. She loved every minute of it. Kylie (my cousin's daughter) loved sitting on the bed and playing with mom. I wish Ryan would have too. He didn't like when we tried to even get him to go near there. One day he will get over that. He has been like that with everyone. Mom got a lot of goodies for her birthday. Everyone brought something for her that they knew she loved. She got clothes, flowers, pepsi and candy.



We left when she started to fall asleep. We all went to lunch afterwards.
