Our first great news is that Ryan is going to be a big brother! We are excited to have a baby boy join our family this summer! My due date is June 27th.
Our second great news is that this is Ben's last semester of school! He changed his major back to business management and in the process of doing that he found out that he can be done this semester. He is taking a ton of credits this semester so he can finish. He won't graduate until summer though. He has to have 6 credits of an internship but couldn't do that this semester because that would exceed the 18 credit max. However, he just started his internship because you can do it before you actually sign up for the credits. He got an internship where he was already working. It's paid which is a huge stress reliever. He is loving his internship. We are very excited for him to be done with school. We don't get to see him much right now between work and school but that will be over sooner than we think.

Ryan's Big Boy Bed
We put Ryan in a big boy bed and couple weeks ago. He LOVES it! He wasn't too excited when we told him he had to sleep in it the first night though. But he did really well. He woke up a lot but he just wanted someone to come check on him and than he would go right back to sleep. He has only gotten out of it at night twice and it was cause he got scared. I am surprised that he transitioned so well. I thought it would take a lot more effort but I'm so grateful that it was so easy.
Christmas
We had a great Christmas! I love being able to spend time with family! We spent some time with just our little family and some time with both mine and Ben's family. Ben spoiled me with a new dresser (ours broke when we moved, so we haven't had one in almost a year). We spent two hours putting it together. Ben got a really nice watch (he knew I was going to get him one so he went and found one he liked). It was a $200 watch that we got for $25. We couldn't pass up that deal! Ryan got lots and lots of toys. He loves them all.

Temple Square
We hadn't been to temple square in a couple of years so we decided to go this year. We invited Ben's parents to go with us. They took us to dinner at a Peruvian restaurant The main part of my meal was pretty good. The rest of it was different than I thought it would be. Ben LOVED all of it.
Temple Square was mostly fun. It was too crowded and too cold. Between morning sickness and the root canal I had the day before I was semi-miserable half the time. Ryan really enjoyed it. He especially liked seeing the horses that were pulling the carriages. He loved seeing all the Christmas lights.
Decorating Stockings
We decorated some stockings this year. We had fun doing it. Ryan was mad when we took his stocking to decorate it and was even more mad when we took the little plastic things to put on it, so that's why his only has a couple things on it.
Two Year's Old
I am so behind in blogging. And on top of that we had to get a new computer and there is no program on here to edit pictures so you will have to deal with my unedited, red-eyed pictures. Ryan turned two on Dec. 11. We had a fun little party for him and he got lots of toys that he loves. I saw something on pinterest for decorating cakes and decided I would attempt to put Curious George on his cake. I didn't have enough time so it didn't get to freeze all the way. It looked awful and I decided that maybe we should just by his cakes from now on. But, at least he didn't know the difference. Ryan is a very sweet boy. He is really good (most of the time). He loves to help us with whatever we are doing. We are so lucky to have him as part of our little family.
