1 Month

I can't believe Ryan is already a month old. It has gone by so fast. He is growing really well. He now weighs 8 lbs 12 oz and is 21 in. His arms have been too long for his newborn clothes for at least a couple weeks and soon he won't be able to wear them at all. It's a little sad he won't fit in them anymore but it will be nice to dress him in something other than his one piece outfits. Some things about Ryan:

* He cries less when dad changes his diaper and clothes than he does mom

* During the day he doesn't mind sleeping without a blanket, but at night he has to be swaddled tight and has to have at least one hand uncovered so he can put it by his face

* He hates baths and having lotion put on

* He loves having his binky when he goes to sleep

As for Ben and me, we love being parents. It's fun, but it's also the hardest thing I have ever done. I think Ben might agree with me there. It's amazing how much we find ourselves worrying about the littlest things. We love this little boy so much and are so grateful to have him as part of our family.
