For my birthday (way back in September) I told Ben I wanted to have family pictures taken...so we did. It has taken me forever to post them, but here they are.

Christmas
Christmas Eve and Christmas were great this year. Ryan had a lot of fun opening all of his gifts. He wanted to play with his toys as soon as he opened them. He did a good job of helping mom and dad open our presents too. My dad and Karen came up on Friday and spent a little time here. The afternoon of Christmas Eve we went to Tiffany and Jason's house. We ate, exchanged gifts and played Tripoley, a game that Tiffany and Jason gave us. After we left their house we headed to Jody and Doran's. Christmas morning we woke up and opened presents and used our new gridle to make breakfast. We went to church with Ben's parents. After that we headed back to Jody and Doran's to exchange gifts, then we headed to Doug and Valene's to do the same thing there. Through all of the fun and excitment I only took ONE picture! I really wish I would have taken more.
Brayson climbed up on the couch with Ben while I was changing Ryan...Ryan decided he wanted to get up on the couch and sit on dads lap too.

Ryan is ONE
Ryan turned one on Dec. 11. Ben had to work so we celebrated his birthday the next day. It was so much fun. He got a lot of fun stuff and some cute clothes.
One year ago we were blessed to have you come into our lives. It has been challenging learning how to be a parent, but we wouldn't trade those difficult moments for anything. We have had so many great times. It has been so much fun watching you learn and grow. We love seeing how independent you are becoming and wanting to do things on your own. We LOVE that when you are playing you stop and come up and give us a hug and a kiss and then go back to playing! We love your fun personality. You bust up laughing and at times we have no idea what you are laughing at, but it makes it that much funnier. You are learning more and more everyday and we look forward to continue watching you learn and grow. We love you so much!!
Love, Mom and Dad
